RÉGIS BERGONZI

VICE PRESIDENT

As a Monegasque, Mr. Bergonzi member of the bar, is a lawyer for the Appeal Court of Monaco.
Graduated from the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis where he obtained an Honours Degree in Law.
Attended Paris XI University, where he completed a Masters Degree in contract law.
His professional experience subsequently led him to Paris, New York, Curitiba and Rio de Janeiro.
He has been elected as the representative of the Principality of Monaco to the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment.
His mandate for the committee, part of the Council of Europe, will end in 2013.
He is also at the head of the Commission for Human Rights for the Lawyers International Union.
He is a Member of the Governing Body of the NGO Innocence Action.
He is married and has a child named Victoria.
